BOLD PRINTS

Bold Prints are a huge trend everywhere, from statement dresses to workout gear. These prints will always be noticed and that can be a little intimidating to wear. So here are a few of my tips for wearing and mixing bold prints.

When wearing one bold print, like this statement dress, keep the accessories simple. A few stackable bracelets or rings will add enough sparkle.  If the print is monochromatic add a pop of color with a clutch and finish the look with a structured heel. This look is powerful, bold and great for the office.

When mixing prints start by picking a bold and a neutral print. In this look my bold is the floral tux jacket and my accent is the simple stripe midi skirt. I chose these patterns because they are different in scale, meaning one print is larger than the other, and because they share a similar color palette. I separated the prints with a solid color crop tank to make the look more cohesive.  I finished with accessories in neutral tones from both prints using nude for the statement necklace and clutch and black for the heels.  Have fun mixing, and wear what makes you feel good!
